Hello! And welcome to Fresh Hope Healing Center. 

 

My name is Melissa Nelson and I'm a licensed acupuncturist. My interest in acupuncture started when I was facing my own health issues and was frustrated with my options (or lack thereof). 

 

I decided to look elsewhere and began researching Oriental Medicine. With the help of a local acupuncturist and weekly sessions, I started to feel like myself again. I knew through acupuncture that I was healing my body naturally and it felt wonderful.

Shortly after moving back to WI, I enrolled at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Racine. Over the years I studied acupuncture, accessory techniques, and herbal & nutritional counseling. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition and a Master's of Science in Oriental Medicine. 

 

I am dedicated to my patients and helping them quickly and effectively reach their health care goals.
